BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Ruth Fesler Lipman was born around 1896 in Duluth, Minnesota to Bert and Vinnie Fesler. She graduated from Stanford in 1918 and worked as a Secretary to Lou Henry Hoover from 1928 to 1931. Lipman accompanied the Hoover’s on their 1928 campaign trip to California and on the Latin American trip. She died on January 31, 1982.
