JOEL T. BOONE COLLECTION, 1922-1959 BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE Joel T. Boone was born August 2, 1889. He served as medical officer on the Presidential yacht, USS Mayflower during the Harding and Coolidge administrations and was the White House physician during the Hoover administration. Boone died on April 2, 1974. SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE The ready reference collection contains copies from the Library of Congress Manuscript Division.
