BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Rudolph Unger was born on May 13, 1930 in Chicago. He attended the University of Notre Dame and worked for The Chicago Tribune for 36 years, beginning in 1956.

 
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection is primarily made up of correspondence between Rudolph Unger and fellow Tribune reporter Walter Trohan, but also contains news clippings, photographs of Notre Dame, and Unger’s memoir One Man’s Journey. The papers are arranged alphabetically by type of material
