 SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE The collection was created by staff to improve  physical and intellectual control over scrapbooks in our holdings. The  collection includes photocopies of the Hoover family albums from our  audio-visual collection which form a chronological index to the original volumes.  The collection contains: clippings, political cartoons, articles, photographs,  and poetry. Subjects include: the Herbert Hoover family, the 1928 and 1932  presidential campaigns, the Latin American trip, Girl Scouts, radio, the  Lindbergh kidnapping, American architecture, and the Herbert Hoover  Presidential Library and Museum. Each scrapbook is identified by a title  (original titles are indicated by quotation marks), creator, time-span, contents,  and physical dimensions. Arranged chronologically.
