BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Carl Truworthy Schuneman was born in Kansas City on October 31, 1886. Schuneman graduated from Yale in 1908. He was vice-president of Schuneman and Manheimer, and the director of the St. Paul National Bank. He succeeded Mckenzie Moss as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Department. Schuneman resigned from the Treasury Department in June 1929.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The papers contain diaries of Schuneman and his wife Helen, correspondence and a scrapbook.
