Youth Programming

Youth programming at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum is specifically designed for children to explore topics related to the Hoovers and the time in which they lived, in a safe and welcoming environment without requiring the presence of their parents or guardians.

These programs require registration, often require a fee, and are grouped by the specific age ranges of the attendees.

  • Daycares/After-School Group Visits

Family Programming

Family programming at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum is designed to encourage a multi-generational audience to experience the museum together. Families with young children are welcome to attend these programs and require a parent or guardian to be present.

These programs vary in cost. Many are free, but may require pre-registration.

Programs include:

Hoover Family Days

  • Holidays with the Hoovers
    • Saturday December 7, 2024, 1- 4 p.m.
    • Celebrate the holidays with the Hoover Presidential Library and Museum with our final Family Day of the year! All of our Family Day events contain family-friendly STEAM based fun, but this one has a twist! Each of our stations is tied to a holiday movie with trees decorated in the style of the movie on display at the Hoover Presidential Foundation!
    • This event is free with the cost of admission.
