BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Theodore G. Klumpp was born in 1903. He was president of the pharmaceutical firm Winthrop Laboratories and chaired the medical services task force of the Second Hoover Commission. Klumpp died September 10, 1997.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The papers contain records of the Medical Services Task Force of the Commission on the Organization of the Executive Branch of Government, also known as the Second Hoover Commission. Materials include: memos, correspondence, minutes, and statements. The appendices consist of reports on specific aspects of the United States health care system. Arranged alphabetically by name of organization, thereunder by appendix letter.
