BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
J. Kenneth Ableiter was born on December 8, 1899, in Fennimore, Wisconsin. He studied soil at the University of Wisconsin and worked for the Department of Agriculture as a soil scientist. Ableiter died on December 9, 1989. 

 

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection contains: an autobiography, articles, travel diaries, and retirement letters. It primarily documents Kenneth Ableiter’s professional career. Arranged alphabetically by type of material.
