MINIATURE BIG TOP
Miniature Big Top Circus display

This miniature circus represents the golden age of the traveling circus from 1890 to 1920, and is crafted to the scale of 1/16" = 1" (3/4"=1') by the lender, Bill Klamerus. The tent was purchased, but Bill created the risers and seats out of shirt boxes. The Hagene & Klamerus Circus (Hagene is his mother's maiden name) was begun over 30 years ago, and now flea market finds and garage sale treasures have completed the scene with performers, band members, roustabouts, and wild animals.
On loan from Bill Klamerus, Cedar Rapids IA
